Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using the SalsaCoach website, the browser trainer, or the private beta app, or by creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use SalsaCoach.
2. Who operates SalsaCoach
SalsaCoach is operated by AmplifyWebX LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("AmplifyWebX," "we," "us," or "our").
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SalsaCoach. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and approved your use where their approval is required.
4. Beta status & changes
SalsaCoach is a private beta. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or unavailable at times. Data may occasionally be reset during the beta, though we will use reasonable care to avoid it. There is no guaranteed release date, and availability on any app store is not promised.
5. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Do not impersonate another person or use another person's account.
6. Permitted use
We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SalsaCoach for your own lawful, personal salsa practice.
7. Things you agree not to do
- use the service for any unlawful purpose;
- interfere with or disrupt the service or its security;
- access accounts, data, or areas that are not yours;
- use malicious automation, or scrape the service in a way that harms it or other users;
- upload content that is infringing, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise harmful; or
- attempt to extract private backend information you are not authorized to access.
Nothing here is intended to prohibit good-faith, legally protected security research conducted responsibly.
8. Our intellectual property
The SalsaCoach name and branding, the interface, our original software, our original written material, and the audio assets we own or license remain the property of AmplifyWebX LLC or its licensors. We do not claim ownership of salsa itself, of musical traditions, of content owned by instructors, or of third-party platforms.
9. User & instructor content
You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and format your content only to operate and promote the service. This license ends after you delete your content, within reasonable technical limits, except for materials already used in prior marketing or where retention is appropriate for legal reasons. You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit. Instructor links may lead to external platforms; SalsaCoach does not offer bookings, payments, or marketplace transaction protections.
10. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without obligation or compensation to you. This does not give us ownership of your other content.
11. External services
SalsaCoach works with third-party services such as YouTube, Instagram, Supabase, and Netlify. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their independent services or content.
12. Practice & safety disclaimer
Scores and timing offsets are educational practice feedback, not certified measurements. Device and audio latency can affect results, and your results do not guarantee any particular dance performance. Please practice safely: use appropriate space, and stop if you feel pain or dizziness.
13. No professional relationship
An instructor listing or a link to an instructor's external lessons does not make that instructor an employee, agent, partner, or endorsed professional of SalsaCoach unless we clearly state otherwise.
14. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms, a security risk, a legal requirement, or abuse of the service. You may stop using SalsaCoach at any time and request that your account be deleted.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SalsaCoach is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Some warranties cannot be disclaimed under the law that applies to you, and nothing here waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AmplifyWebX LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to SalsaCoach is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. Because the beta is free, this cap will usually be USD $100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for claims that arise from your unlawful conduct, your infringement of someone else's rights, or your material violation of these Terms.
18. Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona, subject to any consumer-protection rights available to you under applicable law.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Revised Terms take effect when posted with an updated date, and we will provide additional notice of material changes when appropriate. Continuing to use SalsaCoach after that means you accept the updated Terms.
20. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms in connection with a restructuring, financing, or acquisition. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about SalsaCoach. Headings are for convenience only.
